Made from high-quality medical-grade stainless steel, the instrument is chemically passivated to help reduce corrosion while maintaining the hardness required for a longer instrument life.

The fully tempered box-joint helps maintain precise alignment, while the cutting points meet accurately when closed for effective use across the cutting edge.

Instrument Care & Maintenance

1. Allow hinged instruments to cool after autoclaving before opening and closing to help prevent the hinges from seizing.
2. Ensure instruments are completely dry before storage.
3. Use full washing cycles to remove detergent residue from box joints and hinges.
4. Remove barrel springs before processing.
5. Keep instruments in the open position during processing to minimise stress on the steel.
6. Remove all residue after procedures before it dries.
7. Do not use wire brushes or scourers. Use a nylon or soft brush instead.
